At the end of the lit up city
The blue dawn overlaps
On my extinguished memories
I’m lighting a fire
Questions that can’t be answered
Different dreams under the same sky
In this rough world
What was I looking for?
What was that, that woke me up?
That loud voice?
Now I will call out
When I wander and I fall
I will look for you
So I won’t get lost
If only you allow it
I will leave behind
This piercing wind
And this digging loneliness
And go on my way
I have no strength to drink in much more
But I’m drinking in the blue fog
All the questions I held back till now
I’m asking now
Where are you coming from?
Where am I going?
All of my elongated thoughts
Are trapped in the darkness
Through the long night
Until the sun rises again
Now I will call out
When I wander and I fall
I will look for you
So I won’t get lost
If only you allow it
I will leave behind
This piercing wind
And this digging loneliness
And go on my way
