I looked out the window
A woman was hanging her head low
And walking alone on a street with fallen leaves

I wonder where she’s going
Looking so lonely, so sad
She’s leaving without a word, left all alone

Everyone is leaving, headed toward different paths
So I’m left alone and and walking on this lonely path
Our green path is only filled with branches now
Everything is changing
Like us from the good days, from that day

The woman walking without a word
She turns back for a moment and sadly cries
I wonder if she is endlessly calling someone’s name

In the deep night,
The woman comes back on that same path
Though when morning comes, she’ll walk from the beginning again

Everyone goes through a break up at least once
And in the end, they forget the pain but
The woman is still standing on the path that used to be happy
And the cold path will meet a change of seasons and a blooming spring will come again
