Nanana nanana nanana
Nanana nanana na
I was walking alone on a dark street
Then I saw the night sky
Like yesterday, the stars are shining and the moon is bright
Today, someone was born
And someone went to sleep
I look at the trees on the street
But they don’t say anything
After the darkness leaves and morning comes
The dazzling sun will shine on me
With sunny laughter and energetic footsteps
The streets will be filled
But when the night comes again
They will scatter in the sunset
I’ll be wandering here and there
And be left alone again
I hear something behind my thin shoulder
I look back but there’s nothing
Only the cold wind blows against my face
And the night dew drenches my eyes
I’m not afraid of closing my eyes alone
But saying goodbye is so sad
If the lonely rain starts to fall
I’ll cry right away
Nanana nanana nanana
Nanana nanana na
