Jung In – Chi (치)

283661

Note: “Chi” is a sound that Koreans make that is sort of equivalent to “hmph,” signaling that one is a little upset, skeptical, not liking something or some situation, etc. It can be used in a cutesy way to express that you don’t like something or some situation. Also, Jung In’s boyfriend’s name is Jo Jung Chi so there may be a relation to that as well!

Honestly, I wish you would just stop like this
Sometimes, I wish you would grow distant with the world

Because no matter what, you are a good person (boy)
Because everyone likes you
Sometimes, compared to you, I’m so miserable
I feel smaller, just sometimes

I imagined that you were sick with a strong disease
But I would protect you but oh darling
Everyone else would hesitate – so only trust me

* Honestly, I wish you would just stop like this
Because only I know your true worth, because you’re mine
Before anyone else discovers you, I will hide you

You’re so awesome for living so fiercely (boy)
You’re so awesome for steadily going up
But sometimes, I get nervous at your busy life
In case you would forget me, just sometimes

I imagined that everyone in the world was pointing fingers at you
But I would protect you but oh darling
Everyone else would hesitate – so only trust me

* Repeat

Please understand that I want you to succeed
But in case you would leave me and go
Sometimes, I get scared – don’t leave me

Honestly
Just like this (sometimes, really just sometimes)
Sometimes (don’t leave me, don’t leave me)
My dear

Hoping to be a bridge between k-pop music & k-pop fans who don't understand the Korean language.
