Before climbing the stairs, I take a few moments of meditation or prayer
I calm my heartbeat and go on top of the stage
I hypnotize myself to become a gangster or a beast
Putting insanity inside my eyes
A battle of the nerves with a crowd of hundreds or thousands of people
After winning it, I let my voice with the beat out in the air in a mix down
After spilling out anger, pain, love and fun, there’s an encore
One song, if it feels good, maybe a few more – the endorphin explodes
My eardrums become deafened by eating too much of the crowd’s roar
When everyone jumps, I engrave the bone-chilling spiritual interaction
But I still haven’t completely overcome my panic disorder
I don’t work in two jobs, I just go on one path
And the realization I get from that is like a desert caravan, looking for an oasis
My destination is the grave, no navigation
Patience slowly settles on top of the lost handle

The stage is like my battlefield
Ever since the year 2000 when I grabbed the mic
I’m a combatant who overcame plenty of obstacles
I’m ready to fight, whenever it is
Whether I win or lose, I’ll do it till the end without regrets
I don’t care if it’s big or small, or even if there’s no stage sometimes
I’ve performed on the dirt ground, drinking in sand and dust
Even at the military training grounds, I fought till my voice exploded
I’ll never say words of retirement
Because I love the life that flows through the sweat down my neck

I won’t blame my curiosity of those moments for not living up to my ideals

The heat, the roar of the crowd, the bass line
My voice, my sweat beads
The moment these things mix, I get a shudder like magic
The corners of my heart become round
The place where those corners meet, where everything becomes one
A wave of emotion crashes down
My heart that omits passion is shaking strongly, crashing against my sternum

It crashes, my voice gets louder, my back is curving like an arrow
I get stained with the flowing sweat, a black and white painting is being drawn on top of my heart
After the applause ends, I push aside the empty feeling for a moment
I hold a pen in my hand again and I push myself in a cave
With the tip of my pen and a piece of paper, I pour out my truth
Inside the darkness, I discover a small light
When the curved question mark in my heart straightens up, I hope I will be able to peacefully fall asleep
