Ugly Duck – What You See (Tell Me What You Saw OST Part 5)

A delusion of persecution or excess memory
Clear vibrations of a bell fill my head
Trauma
Even the slightest of moments remain
Without warning, it comes to me
And it covers my eyes
Oh God, please have mercy on me
Even when I close my eyes, I can see it even clearer
The shame I received
The origin of the guilt that I didn’t know before
Dangerous thoughts make me bite my nails again
All around me is a cliff
So I’m pulling it all in
Into this deep abyss
No matter how much I think about it
It’s unfair that I go through this alone
This sucky feeling
I wish those people can feel it too
Yea trust nobody
Doubts are wise
I’ve never deceived anyone
Those who believed are just fools
Promises that can’t be kept
Even if they are kept, I’m prone to disappointment
I need to just be satisfied now
Or put my life on the line

Not able to go back, I’ve figured it out
Even though I act like I don’t
It doesn’t make it go away
Whatever it was that I wanted to be
I’m opening my eyes and glaring
What I need is change and adjustment
In order to see more clearly, I close my eyes
It’s not important
Other words or other people’s lives
They say it’s not just what you see
But who knows
Maybe what we see is all there is
Same view, different perspective
Someone’s miracle
Is someone else’s tragedy or heartbreak
Ignore everything that interferes
Always take substance with you
Now I never want to have blood on my hands
Miracles are subjective, it’s more of a mirage
Now I’m confused with myself
Whether they see me or not
Everyone else but me is just a spectator
Now tell me
What do you see?

That bright place over there is so far
But keep your distance, you can’t see it from too close either
Don’t trust everything, even in unforgettable scenes
Because memories are bound to be distorted

That bright place over there is so far
But keep your distance, you can’t see it from too close either
Don’t trust everything, even in unforgettable scenes
Because memories are bound to be distorted

Hoping to be a bridge between k-pop music & k-pop fans who don't understand the Korean language.
